The EuroFuelTech range of equipment coveres all users from smaller clients typically making from 500 to 5000 litres per day of biodiesel) through to large factories making over 150,000 metric tonnes per year (40 mmgy) of biodiesel. The unique nature of the EuroFueltech equipment is that it is modular. The modularity means that client factory sizes can grow along with their business.
So why plant trees? "Simple" says Mike Drew, MD of EuroFueltech, "we are a company that is deeply linked with the environment. We want to make sure that as far as possible the CO2 we generate is offset by the planting of trees. We wanted to make sure that we planted trees that had a second benefit, and of course being in biodiesel Jatropha Curcus really appealed to us. Trees4Good is a partner company of ours, and we hope that once the oil starts flowing many of our mutual clients will be able to actually purchase the oil and make biodiesel with it".
The EuroFuelTech office in Milton Keynes is 600 sq/ft, which meant planting 600 trees with the simple formula used by Trees4Good. |
